I feel like fluffy bunny slippers
Soft and warm
Placing weapons around the house

It smells too much like cigarette smoke
Pizza and Coke
For breakfast first thing this morning

I awake and wonder which way is up?
Immobile and stuck
Like chicken in an enchilada

With cheese

I feel like wind through the trees
Fast and free
Changing speed with the weather depending

I feel like a cat after a mouse
In a maze
And amazed by the ways that don’t end in dead ends

When impending

My arms are extending outward for you
