Wintry Storm

Actions, change, and motion, right before your eyes.
And behind your eyes… inside your mind, did you notice me? Somehow,
I think you’d be surprised. The many remnants of me you might find,
And the places they’ll be. Maybe… someday… somebody anybody nobody everybody and
I… will be all put together. Displayed on TV,

Right before your eyes, to see.
Me…
Imperfectly pinned up on a wall.
Notebook paper, memory, blood, guts and all.

Someday maybe centuries away somebody will find what I see inside your mind.
Sometimes I know you notice me looking… but you never say that you do.

Will just a few lines be enough to make you feel it's true love?
When the sun shines on your back in the winter will it help keep you warm?

There is always something to smile about.

For me… right now… it’s a wintry storm.

Barbecue, macaroni,
buffalo, pepperoni...

Shared pizza, shared words,
shared conversations about words
and how funny they are.

It's funny too how our minds & hearts mesh together
like 2 kinds of pizza sharing a pan -

but it's the kind of funny that makes me oh-wow
breathlessly amazed
And blessed and thankful.
