It’s almost Saturday
Then
Twenty four hours after that
It will have been two weeks
After I sat
Over
The water
With her
Still I’m not sure
Still I’m with doubt
Still thinking about the
Paint
On the picture
From the blood
Of the blister
On my heart
Still
Such a pretty picture
Of what will
Never glister
On it’s own
And apart
From her presence


She knows I miss her


It’s almost Saturday
So
Maybe then tomorrow
I’ll try again to borrow
More time for my
“If only I” ’s

And maybe then the lonely
And all the old inside me dies

And her words again
Will fill my eyes

With sex

Still I’m not sure
I haven’t heard it all from her

It looks so realistic and stark

Still I feel a little left out

And in the dark

Maybe then tomorrow
I’ll be able
To perceive
With
The perspective
That can see
What my
“If only I” ’s  

Have yet to let

Me
