I hear a complication mediation cannot end.
I hear knocking at my window again.
Where have you been… friend? Why are you here?
Am I at last about to be made clear? Understood?
Should I even answer the window at all? I could.
But nobody’s home.
Nobody near to answer the call… still…
I hear the window ringing in the back of my mind.
I hear a record in reverse with words that curse and bind.
Spell casting everlasting letters through headphones.
Because my backbone’s broken, I see.
It’s easy to be a VHS after experiencing the DVD.
