There is only one fertile female in a colony. She is surrounded by workers who feed and groom her. Her only function is to lay eggs, about 1,500 a day, one at a time. Can live 3-5 years.

There are hundreds of drones, the males of the colony. They do not work and are cared for by the workers. They have no stinger. Only task is to mate with the queen and they die shortly after.

Thousands of workers in a colony. The infertile females have a six week long life of cleaning the hive, nursing feeding larvae, building honeycomb, guarding the hive, and collecting pollen/nectar.

The point is to educate us on the mating system of the queen and her followers? Black people need to recognize that the true pimps of society are women.

Yes. I found it intresting how few males there where in a colony of bees. And they only live to mate with the queen. And die. The rest are all female bees supporting the hive and nourishing life in everything they do. And pollenating vegatation and trees and flowers and stuffs.
